“Fairytale windmill town”, a public welfare parent-child service project created by Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and family of childhood
Baiyun International Airport “fairytale windmill town” children’s Park is the first public welfare project cooperated by domestic airport space and children’s amusement industry well-known brand family of childhood. It is also a service initiative to launch the industry’s first brand into the airport.
The children’s Park is located on the 3rd floor of the departure corridor in the zone an of terminal T1 of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, which is open to passengers free of charge. It provides recreational space for small passengers and a new parent-child space for family passengers when waiting.

Warm blue is like the sky, soft white is like white cloud, bright yellow is like sunlight, steady wood color is like nature, color matching is fresh and refined, warm and elegant, the whole has a style, full of design sense, very childlike, use well-designed products to accompany children’s happy growth. To let children all over the world have a happy childhood is the mission of family of childhood and the original intention of airport public welfare cooperation. “Everything starts from the children, and everything serves the children”. The 160 square meter area is perfectly divided under the transformation of the family of childhood designers. Based on the corner experience of preschool education area, there are children’s dream windmill slide, parent-child reading area, manual puzzle area, building block graffiti area, etc. the combination of flexible and soft gray PVC floor mats presents a high-grade atmosphere, and also ensures the children’s play safety.

All unsafe factors were excluded from the design of windmill slides in family of childhood, surrounded by yellow and blue guardrails and windows.
